FAQ

Questions, answered.

Pricing, permissions, AI privacy, hosting — the things people ask most.

Is kozzyx free?

Yes. Every command and feature is free. No paywall, no premium tier, no usage limits hidden behind a Patreon.

Why does the bot need Administrator?

It doesn't strictly need Administrator. The invite asks for it because most servers want one-tap setup and the bot needs permissions to create channels and roles for /server_setup. You can scope it down — see the features page.

What happens to data I send through AI commands?

Prompts are forwarded to Google's Gemini API for inference and are not stored on our side past the response. Conversation memory for /ask lives in your server's encrypted database row and you can wipe it with /clear_memory. Full breakdown in the privacy policy.

Can I self-host?

The bot isn't open-source. If you want the same features in your own infra, reach out via contact and we'll talk.

How do I report abuse or a bug?

Use the report form. We triage daily.

What's the uptime target?

99.9%. The bot runs on GCP with a hot-standby and health checks. Status is in the dashboard top bar — a green dot means everything's nominal.

Where is the bot hosted?

Google Cloud Platform, in Europe (Belgium region). Backups are encrypted and geographically distributed.

Can I customize the prefix / language / personality?

Yes — prefix is per-server, multi-language support is on the roadmap, and AI persona / temperature can be tuned in Dashboard → AI Studio.

Does kozzyx work in DMs?

A small subset of commands (/help, /appeal) works in DMs. Server-context commands like /ban obviously don't.
