Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains what data kozzyx collects, why, how long it keeps it, and what rights you have over it.

By adding kozzyx to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to the collection and use of data described here. If you don't agree, remove the bot from your server.

2. What gets stored

Only what's needed to make features work:

AFK status (reason, timestamp)	Show an AFK notice when you're mentioned.
Warnings (user, server, reason, history)	Moderation warn system.
Mod audit log (action, target, executor, reason)	Staff audit trail within your server.
Appeals (user, server, reason, status)	Ban / warn appeal submissions.
Invite tracking (inviter, code, join time)	Track who invited which members.
AI chat history (per user per server)	Context for `/ask`.
Server settings, autoresponders, tickets, voice channels, booster roles	Per-server plugin and bot settings.

3. AI features

The /ask, /imagine, and /translate commands use a third-party AI API (Google / Gemini). When you use them:

Your message content is sent to the AI provider to generate a response.
Conversation history is stored locally to maintain context between messages.
You can delete your AI chat history any time with /clear_memory.
The AI provider has its own retention policy - see Google's Privacy Policy.

4. How data is used

To operate and deliver the features listed above.
To let server admins moderate their own communities.
Never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any commercial purpose.
Not shared with any third party except the AI provider (only when you explicitly use AI commands).

5. Where it lives

All data is stored in a local SQLite database on the server hosting kozzyx. No cloud database, no shared storage. Access is limited to the bot process.

Server settings and moderation data persist as long as the bot stays in your server. Personal user data (AFK, AI history, warnings) persists until manually deleted or the bot is removed.

6. Deleting your data

Use /clear_memory to delete your AI chat history.
AFK status clears automatically when you send a message.
For full deletion of anything else, contact the bot owner (see section 9).

Server admins can request full removal of their server's data by removing the bot and contacting the owner.

7. Children's privacy

kozzyx is not directed at children under 13. No data is knowingly collected from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor's data has been collected, contact us and it will be removed.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated over time. When it is, the Last updated date at the top changes. Continued use of kozzyx after changes means you accept the new policy.
